It was 1984, two weeks before Christmas, Legendary Los Angeles Radio Personality Robert W. Morgan arrived at work for his morning show.  Morgan found a cassette on the steps of the studio in an unmarked envelope, with the words “from God” written on the envelope.  Morgan listened to the tape and decided to play it on the air not knowing what the response would be.  Much to his surprise Morgan was deluged with calls from listeners who were touched by the inspirational message.

The ‘God Tape’ as it’s called, became a fixture on Morgans morning show every Christmas Eve afterwords.  The identity of the creator of the God Tape” has never been revealed.

On May 22, 1998, Robert W Morgan lost his battle with lung cancer, he was 61 years old.
